The Alley Cat Academy was founded with a clear vision: to establish an authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu sanctuary where technical mastery, hard work, and lifelong friendships flourish.

Rooted in world-class lineage, our academy has grown from a humble mat space into a premier training hub for recreational martial artists, law enforcement professionals, and elite competition champions alike.

Respect and safety form the foundation of Alley Cat Academy. Following these core rules ensures everyone trains productively in a safe, hygienic hall.

Safety, Respect & Excellence

Footwear Hygiene

Always wear shoes off the mat. Never step barefoot onto the tatami mats from outside or restrooms.

Clean Gear & Nails

rain exclusively in clean, freshly washed Gis and rashguards. Keep finger and toe nails neatly trimmed.

Leave Ego At The Door

Prioritize your training partners' safety and mutual learning above winning practice rounds.

Respect The Lineage

Bow upon entering or exiting the mat floor as a sign of respect for the academy and your training partners.
